EURO CHANGEOVER DATE
Malta has changed it's currency to the EURO € from 1st January 2008. Prices, quotations and invoicing will be in Euro only from this date, any other currency shown is for your guidance only. From 1st February 2008 the Maltese Lira ceases to be legal tender in Malta. However it can still be exchanged at a bank.
Advance payments can normally be made by credit/debit card through our EPOS terminal. Alternatively by bank or electronic transfer in Euros direct to our Euro account in Malta.
Payment can be made by arrangement with us in Pounds Sterling from UK, the exchange rate at the time of the transaction will be used with the customer bearing the cost of of currency conversion and any bank charges.
In accordance with Maltese regulations the equivalent Maltese lira rate should be calculated at the fixed conversion rate of:- €1.0 = Lm 0.4293
