If you have booked your transfer through Gozo Aqua Sports you will be met at the airport in the arrivals hall by a taxi driver holding up your name on a board (or something that sounds nearly the same in Maltese!). He will transfer you to Cirkewwa, the ferry port in Malta for Gozo Channel Ferries, a road journey of approximately 40 minutes. Here you proceed to the ferry as foot passenger having deposited your luggage in a box on a trolley that the crew put on the car deck for the journey.

A 25 minute ferry ride will bring you to the Gozitan harbour of Mgarr, where inside the spacious terminal you should be reunited with your luggage. We, or a taxi driver holding your name (another spelling bee) will meet you and transfer you directly to your accommodation.
A standard taxi can carry a maximum of 4 passengers plus luggage. A minibus can be arranged for larger groups and can carry a maximum of 8-10 passengers. (Depending on amount of luggage).
The pedestrian ferry fare is additional, but payable now only on return from Gozo towards Malta. This arrangement came into operation on 28th April 2010
