Gozo Aqua Sports is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre, thereby guaranteeing an expert level of quality training. For the novice, we offer a choice of course to suit your individual needs.
Discover scuba is a half-day session with a brief introduction to diving and a real dive, known round the world as a try-dive or resort dive.
Discover scuba diving with two half-day sessions (though this can be completed on the same day). In addition to the Discover Scuba course, you will also learn more about diving skills and complete a confined water training session. This course can be credited as part of the Scuba Diver or Open Water courses should you wish to continue and gain a full qualification.
The Scuba Diver Course is an intermediate step towards the Open Water Diver Course. Upon completion of this course, you will be certified to dive to 12 metres accompanied by an Instructor.
If you are a certified Scuba Diver or have completed the academic and confined water sessions of the Open Water Course, you may complete your qualification in the Mediterranean by attending our Open water Referral Courses.
The Open Water Diver Course will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely enjoy diving. Gozo offers ideal conditions for beginners to learn - clear warm water allowing all training to be done in the sea. We try to vary dive sites each day so you can also see as much of the island as possible. Each dive allows time to explore after skills have been completed.
