Come and join us for some fantastic Scuba diving around the Maltese Island of Gozo

Sat in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Gozo is the smaller sister island of Malta. The warm waters' offer all-year-round diving with temperatures ranging from 16 degrees in winter months up to 29/30 degrees in August and stunning underwater visibility often in excess of 30m. Have a look here for the average land and sea temperatures throughout the year.
The majority of the dive sites around Gozo are accessible from shore with a variety of spectacular drop-offs, wall dives, reefs, wrecks and shallower sheltered bays full of sea life and also excellent for dive training. Gozo's notorious Blue Hole and Inland sea are both extremely popular because of their unique entrys and breathtaking underwater topography. And now even more stunning since the collapse of the Azure Window in March this year, the as yet un-named new dive site around the bolders of the Azure Window with lots of exciting swim throughs and tunnels.

With a selection of deeper dive sites accessible from shore, Gozo is an excellent location for Technical Divers whether in training or experienced.
We are a PADI 5*IDC Centre and SDI/TDI Centre and BSAC Dive Resort, we welcome divers from all agencies.

Gozo Wreck dives from shore

On the south coast there are three wrecks which can be accessed easily from the shore.  The MV's Karwella and Cominoland are former ferries that were deliberately scuttled for the diving community as artificial reefs in 2006. They joined the MV Xlendi which was sunk in 1997, however due to age, deterioration and the dangerous nature of the wreck, Gozo Aqua Sports fully support and recommend local guidance that you do not enter this wreck.
These wrecks are deep so are only suitable for experienced divers who are qualified with PADI Deep Speciality or equivalent, you can also take the Deep Speciality with us while you are here.
For wrecks that are shallower you would need to book a boat trip.

Gozo Dive Boat trips

Take advantage of our regular boat trips to visit those sites inaccessible from shore across to Comino Caves, Lantern point,  P31 wreck or the Rozi wreck. The stunning P31 wreck lies on a sandy bottom at about 18m making it suitable for Open Water Divers. We regularly charter boats that visit one of the wrecks off the coast of Malta and/or various sites around the island of Comino. We use either a hard boat for full day trips so non divers are welcome and lunch is served on board while we moor in a sheltered cove and there is plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling or we can charter a RIB if you want to just do 1 dive. Advance booking is reccommended.
